Manufacturer profile

A drawing-based die casting supplier for custom components.

Cixi Huabo supports aluminum and zinc die cast components made to customer drawings, including housings, panels, brackets, mounting parts, heat sinks, threaded zinc components, machined ADC12/A380 castings and painted automotive examples.

The company is located in Cixi, Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. International buyers can send drawings directly to Mr. Li by email, phone or WeChat and keep the technical, quotation and approval scope connected to one project conversation.

Huabo reviews material, geometry, annual demand, secondary operations and validation requirements before confirming the manufacturing route. Project-specific dimensions, tolerances and performance commitments are stated in the quotation and approved technical documents.

Manufacturing route

One technical scope from DFM to production release.

Equipment, process and quality resources establish the factory basis. The customer drawing and quotation then define the actual tool, operation sequence, tolerances, finish and approval package for the component.

How the factory route is connected

StageHuabo manufacturing responsibilityBuyer input or approval
Drawing and DFM reviewReview parting, slides, draft, wall transitions, gates/vents, ejection, machining stock, visible zones and inspection access.Controlled 3D/2D revision, application, alloy, volumes and critical requirements
Tooling and samplesDevelop and trial the agreed die route; record issues and corrections before production release.Tool ownership terms, sample quantity and measurable approval criteria
Die castingRun the selected aluminum or zinc process on equipment matched to the tool and project route.Material standard, prohibited alternatives and any certificate requirement
Secondary operationsCoordinate trimming, deburring, CNC machining, cleaning, blasting, coating, anodizing or painting as quoted.Machined features, finish specification, masking, appearance and cleanliness limits
Inspection and releaseConnect material, dimensions, appearance, functional checks and packaging to the approved revision.CTQs, methods, sample frequency, report format and acceptance limits
Repeat supplyMaintain the agreed production, change, traceability and packing controls.Forecast, order quantities, delivery terms and change authorization

Quality system and certificates

Use the IATF 16949 certificate together with product-specific evidence.

Current and historical Chinese and English IATF 16949 certificate images are available for registrar, scope, legal entity, issue-date and expiry review. Confirm the current certificate edition during supplier qualification.

A system certificate does not automatically approve a component. Each program still needs the correct drawing revision, material, control plan, inspection method, sample evidence, nonconformance and change route, and production-lot traceability agreed with the buyer.

Huabo’s dimensional and material-inspection resources explain how CMM, hand gauges, material records and drawing-defined functional or appearance tests can form that approval package.

Working with overseas engineering and procurement

A written route from first file review to repeat shipment.

China sourcing works best when commercial and technical handoffs use the same revision and assumptions. Huabo provides direct email, phone and WeChat contact, while controlled files and final decisions remain in written project records.

  1. Submit the complete RFQSend matching 3D/2D files, alloy, annual and batch demand, application, CTQs, finish, documentation, packing and destination.
  2. Close manufacturability questionsReview draft, wall, parting, slides, restricted tool marks, machining datums, finish sequence and validation methods.
  3. Normalize the quotationSeparate tool, part, machining, finishing, gauges/reports, packaging, delivery and every assumption or exclusion.
  4. Approve measurable samplesUse the agreed drawing and test methods; close deviations before series release instead of relying on appearance alone.
  5. Control changes and repeat ordersLink drawing, tool, fixture, process, inspection and packaging changes to written authorization and revalidation.
  6. Maintain export communicationUse the direct contact for timing and escalation, with technical changes confirmed in records shared by engineering, quality and purchasing.

Supplier qualification documents

Request current source documents before nomination.

Before approving Huabo for a specific program, request the current quality certificate, legal entity and address evidence, equipment and process list relevant to the drawing, example control-plan or report format, calibration and traceability information, subcontract-process scope, tooling and change policy, and named commercial, engineering and quality contacts.

Complete supplier qualification with the buyer audit, signed nondisclosure agreement, purchase specification, approved deviations, quality agreement and production-part approval required by your organization.
